Summary of 2017 Events

By Julie | In Events | on February 3, 2017

Previous Challenges have been successful in creating focus and encouraging consistency – two characteristics that must be present to achieve goals.

You may choose to participate in one or all of the following three Challenges to help keep you focused and moving forward this year.

  1. Hop into Spring Challenge – January 16th– April 29th
  2. Bikini Body Challenge – May 15th– Aug 12th
  3. Christmas Cash Challenge – Sept 4th– Dec 2nd

Focus of This Year’s Nutrition Information

The information that you will be receiving in the Challenge emails throughout the year will focus on detoxificationadrenal fatigue and how to maintain a strong and sound mind. If our body is loaded down with toxins and/or if our adrenal glands (stress glands) are not functioning very efficiently, it is very easy to accumulate belly fat. A healthy gut is directly connected to a healthy mind and less belly fat. Fix your gut, and not only do you improve your chances of NOT being part of the 1/3 of the population that is predicted to have some form of dementia by 2040, but you will also lose belly fat.

Lowering Waist-Hip Ratio = Lower Risk of Disease

My goal throughout this year’s Challenges is to provide nutrition information and create classes that focus on reducing everyone’s Waist-Hip Ratio. The Waist-Hip Ratio is a simple but important tool that helps to determine overall health risk. Ratios above the ideal ratios of 0.8 for women and 0.9 for men indicate an increased risk for heart disease, diabetes and stroke.
